i have not watched this video, but i think it’s important to warn people that according to comments this man commits suicide on camera. there are a lot of comments simply telling people to “keep scrolling” but please also say what the video is. it took me a good minute to find that info just from the notes.

I JUST SAW ONE WITH A GIRL DOING THE “my biggest flex is having hot friends check” AND THE FIRST THING THAT POPPED UP WAS THIS VIDEO. IT IS GRAPHIC AND DEFINITELY TRAUMATISING.
I have also been told that there are several other tactics that people are using. A few of them are:
- craft videos with multiple steps. they will show one or two steps before cutting to the video.
- innocuous videos (ie, someone showing their pets or kids) will also show the clip. a good way to tell is if it seems like a poor-quality video.
- aesthetics videos (one that is circulating is a halloween aesthetic video)
- lastly, it will seem to be a person making a rip post for the man in the video
these are just the ones i have heard from friends or people posting about this. pls be safe and pause to read the comments on tiktoks to get an idea of what the video may be.
tiktok has a history of not being the best at handling things like this so do your best to keep yourself safe. if you have younger siblings, friends or maybe kids of your own pls try to get them to stay off tiktok for a while or pass this information off.

Hey all as some of you know, I moved out of my mom’s toxic household few months ago. And now I am moving to a bigger place with people I call family. I been heavily relying on Mutual Aid as of lately🙁
What is Mutual Aid??: mutual aid is a voluntary reciprocal exchange of resources and services for mutual benefit. Mutual aid projects are a form of political participation in which people take responsibility for caring for one another and changing political conditions.
To live as a black trans woman in America I sadly participate (by force) to make a living out of Capitalism. Which is pretty fucked up to me cause to live;I have to work my ass off to the fullest and get less to nothing in return. Even with Sex Work (to survive) Adulting is soooooo rough 🥴🤦🏾♀️ . I am just trying to make the best out of any situation I am in.I really swallowed my pride here, and decided to post a huge ask to help me Furnish my New Room. I have organized a Amazon Wish List to have this beautiful community who participates in mutual aid and of course reparations to black people. Please take lead and help me out.

Another thing abt this video: nearly every beauty involved is Indigenous or Black, the two minority groups of trans women that frequently get left out of discussions when it comes to highlighting trans women and their beauty, and the two groups at the highest risk of violence while trans. These women deserve love and praise just like y’all’s favorite white women do. Show up for Black and Indigenous trans women.
Trans women didn’t have to bless the internet with this but we are so thankful they did 😍
